Conscious Sedation

Nitrous oxide has been used for centuries for dental treatment as well as in general surgery. Now, it is used in smaller concentrations to help the patient to relax more during treatment. A mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen is inhaled using a nasal mask. This type of sedation is also very suitable for treating children.
